now i know this is janky as hell, but seeing as i have no photoshop skills, photobucket is what i have to work with. Anyways, i was sad to wake up and see this post today on my facebook feed. I think it is the most disgusting, and disturbing thing that christian/catholic people will shun a fucking cookie company for supporting a minory group. I especially hate the comment my cousin in law makes…. “poor hewhoshallnotbenamed.” Uhm how about poor lgbtq people who have this much hatred in the world. THIS much fucking hatred that just because the oreos company posts an IMAGE supporting the lgbtq community, thousands upon millions of people around the world will refuse to eat these cookies anymore. buying something from a company that supports gay pride will not get you sent to hell! where in the hell has equality gone in America…. land of the FREE. this makes me fucking sick to my stomach, and i dont want to start any sort of fight between my family but Christ! this is a PERFECT example of shunning a minority group for something they can not control, their feelings. so what if a man is in love with a man, do NOT force your religion onto them and have them be in a living hell for the rest of their lives with a woman, just so you can get your sad satisfaction of another holy matrimony. Why don’t we all take a few steps back to the 80’s when this same family i live in refused to accept the fact that my mother was marrying and having children with a black man. oh yes again, lets shun out another minority group for something they can’t control. Ethnic people can not control the color of their skin, just like lgbq people can not control how they feel about men vs. women. Interracial relationships have been going on for a long long time, and you know what, you had to bite your lip, and hold your tongue at first, but it is all over the world now, and very very approved of. i CAN NOT wait for the day where lgbt relationships are treated the same, and you can sit in your chirstian household and choke on a big fat double stuffed oreo cookie, and watch as the first gay president takes their stand.
